It started raining in the middle of the night; I could hear it plinking on the skylight in the bathroom when I woke up at 4:40. (I woke up then because this week, that's about when Hannah has been waking up to eat. Last night was the first night I actually slept straight through from the time I went to bed till then; it always takes my body a couple days to adjust when she sleeps longer so I was waking up between 2-3:00 every other day this week since that was her old eating time.) The rain got a little fluffier and whiter around 9:00 a.m. The flakes have been pretty huge for almost 2 hours now; it's kinda pretty (but don't tell anyone I said that--I still hate winter!!). Here's a pic looking out our front door:
It's actually kinda perfect since Eric has been planning on putting up the tree today anyway. We put in the Muppets and John Denver Christmas CD (the only Christmas music I like because who doesn't love the Muppets???) and he dug the tree out of the attic. It's up now but we can't find the ornaments so it isn't decorated yet....Here's Eric putting a wreath up in the vestibule:
Holy crap!! I just realized that today is Hannah's 4 month birthday!!! I have a special post I've been planning for today...I gotta start working on that. Enough about this bah humbug stuff!! :) Stay tuned.....
